So after I had flopped at my attempt to converse with her at the college, which also partially had to do with the fact that she was heading to the grocery store with her father because I didn't want to keep her, I decided to sit with her in class during the book discussion. When did in fact sit next to her during the discussion. I thought that she had some good insight on the book. I lost my nerve when I tried to talk to her during class that day, so I decided to text her from work the next day. So, the next day I text messaged her about the book discussion and how I felt that she did well. She responded and I got excited so I sent another message. I asked about her education and stuff like that. Little did I know, as we found later, that my phone and hers tend to disagree and not talk to each other very well during text messages, so she never received the message. I thought that she did, so I sat by my phone the rest of the day hoping that she would respond back, well, that never happened. So I sat and admired her during class every week for quite a while. I must admit, I looked forward to seeing her every week. So that's how it went for a while. I adored her from a distance and had too little confidence to communicate with her very well. There were many opportunities, but I never had the courage. There was also a bit of miscommunication to deal with, which never helps. There were a few instances where we would talk a little bit, but it never really meant much. Next time I'll talk about how we actually started to talk! Tags: amber Current Mood: worried
